Class Descriptions

Step : Step aerobics is a classic cardio workout. It's lasted for decades for a simple reason: It delivers results. The "step" is a 4-inch to 12-inch raised platform. You step up, around, and down from the platform in different patterns to boost your heart rate and breathing, and strengthen your muscles.

Low impact Tabata: This class is a type of HIIT workout that aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time. For each exercise, you do eight rounds of 20 seconds of low impact exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest

SBT Circuit (specialized program extra charge): Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete 100s of exercises.

Core Conditioning: A format of 45s work and 30s rest targeting glutes, core and shoulders. Slow tempo class really working the muscles that strengthen the core of the body.

Yin Yoga: Yin is a slow-paced and gentle style of yoga that works with very basic postures to increase mobility, mobilize, stretch, and hydrate the body's extensive fascial network, and invite the practitioner into a deeply meditative internal space.

Body Pump: is a fast-paced, barbell-based workout that's specifically designed to help you get lean, toned and fit. It uses a combination of motivating music, fantastic instructors and scientifically proven moves to help you achieve these targets more quickly than you would working out on your own.

Boxing Boot camp (specialized program extra charge): 60 minutes long and are usually structured in three “rounds” that include an intense cardio warmup, boxing with intervals of bodyweight exercises, and of course, core work. All three rounds are extremely challenging and are sure to leave you drenched in sweat from head to toe.

Body Sculpt: also known as weight or resistance training, is a form of exercise that uses weights or resistance bands and your own body weight to stress the muscles. The body sculpting class involves performing a series of repetitive exercises using your body weight and resistance bands, barbells and dumbbells.

Teen Bootcamp (specialized program extra charge): indoor interval training program designed for teens looking to kick start their fitness goals. The program combines cardio and strength training in one session.

Dirty Thirty: This class is a quick-and-dirty workout that delivers a full body punch! Spend 30 minutes increasing strength and cardio fitness and then finish it off with exercises to strengthen your core and flatten that tummy.

Yoga: Revitalize your body, relax your mind, and reduce stress with slow, gentle standing flows and floor asanas (poses) to increase your strength and flexibility, and improve breath capacity. Ideal for beginners of any age or physical condition or experienced students who want a slower paced, less strenuous class. This class is also appropriate for Prenatal clients.

Barre: a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can.

Cardio Conditioning: Increase your stamina and strength and burn calories with a fun mix of cardio conditioning and weight training. Enjoy great music through a variety of dance inspired movements, to get your heart rate up and your feet moving. Adapt moves for higher or lower impact depending on your level. Weight training with dumbbells completes this fun, full-body workout.

Mindful stretch: Using Relaxing Stretching and Guided Breathing, Mindfulness Stretching is a careful Somatic process of progressive relaxation to release muscle tension and relieve pain through breathing, extension and focus.

Pound: a cardio jam-session designed to release the rockstar within us all while promoting total-body fitness. Instead of listening to the music, you become the music in this full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movement.

Xtreme Hip-Hop: a high-intensity dance cardio aerobics class. Class routines are done to hip-hop and R&B tunes to create a fun workout environment while eliminating the feeling of "working out". Includes kick-boxing moves and cardio movement’s.
